TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CONCERT VENUES 

PROSCENIUM STAGES

A grand piano (prefereably a Steinway concert grand) freshly tuned the day before concert – adequate lighting on piano keyboard and music stand (no shadows) and on the four orchestral music stands for the cellist and violinist – a general wash downstage (not hot) – room temperature 70 degrees F. – one orchestra chair (flat seat and armless) for the cellist – in venues seating more than 100 people, please provide a microphone to facilitate verbal communication with the audience by Trio spokespersons.

IN NON-TRADITIONAL VENUES

Without stage lighting, The Trio will provide music stand lights and electronic keyboard. The Trio will also provide music stands. It is the responsibility of the venue to provide: one armless, flat seat chair, two microphones capable of transmitting the strings’ audio clearly ( this usually requires a sound board), keyboard line out and adequate general lighting. There should be adequate lighting without shadows on all electronic piano keys and music stand.

PRICE RANGE SCHEDULE

Concerts in SC not requiring overnight accommodation $1,500.00

Outreach concert plus accommodation $1,700.00

Concerts in NC & GA not requiring overnight accommodation $1,800.00

Outreach concert plus accommodation $2,300.00

Other neighboring states please add travel to base fee of $2,500.00
